EEICE 2025 | April 18-20




2025 6th International Conference on Electrical, Electronic Information and Communication Engineering (EEICE 2025) was grandly held in Shenzhen, China from April 18 to 20, 2025. This conference was hosted by Shenzhen University of Technology and adopted the format of "main venue +2 sub-forums", attracting many renowned experts, scholars and industry representatives from home and abroad to jointly discuss the latest research achievements and future development trends in the fields of electrical, electronic information and communication engineering.

Opening Ceremony
The conference kicked off in a warm and enthusiastic atmosphere. Professor Liang Yongsheng, the vice president of Shenzhen University of Technology, delivered a welcoming speech on behalf of the organizers, emphasizing the significance of this conference in promoting international academic exchanges and cooperation. Professor Tang Dingyuan, the vice dean of the Future Technology College, presided over the opening ceremony. Professor Liu Qingxia, an academician of the Canadian Academy of Engineering and the dean of the Future Technology College, also attended the conference.

Plenary Lecture


This conference invited many internationally renowned scholars to deliver excellent reports on the latest research fields. The morning plenary session was chaired by Professor Dong Bo, a specially-appointed professor at the School of Integrated Circuit and Optoelectronic Chips. The plenary session featured keynote speeches by Professor Bao-Hua Jia, an academician of the Australian Academy of Technology and Engineering, Optica/IMO3 Fellow, and from RMIT University; Professor Fu-Shuan Wen, an IEEE Fellow and director of the Institute of Electric Power Economics and Information Technology at Zhejiang University; Professor Chang-Yuan Yu, an Optica/OSA Fellow and director of the Jinjiang Institute of Technology Innovation at the Hong Kong Polytechnic University; and Professor Rui-Sheng Wang, a Changjiang Chair Professor, an overseas high-level talent selected by the National Program, and from Shenzhen University.

Precise control and cutting-edge applications



Professor Jia's report introduced the interaction between 3D nano-printing and various materials, elaborating on the precise manipulation of materials at spatial, temporal and atomic scales. It particularly highlighted the current status and broad prospects of optical nano-printing and two-dimensional photonic integrated devices, and shared the future development directions and main challenges of ultrafast optical nano-printing and atomic material equipment.

The deep integration of AI and energy



Professor Wen explored the integration of modern artificial intelligence technology in the power system and the carbon emission market. He discussed the transformative impact of AI on energy efficiency, sustainability, and the decision-making process, and provided valuable insights into current applications, future trends, and the implementation of AI-driven solutions to optimize power management and address the challenges posed by carbon emissions.

The future of non-invasive health monitoring



Professor Yu reviewed the latest research on non-wearable and non-invasive intelligent health monitoring systems based on fiber optic interferometers and introduced the potential and application of this technology in health monitoring.

Innovative paths for urban modeling



Professor Wang presented the latest research results on using LiDAR point clouds for large-scale building reconstruction, and developed Building3D. This dataset is designed to support the application of deep learning techniques in urban modeling challenges. He discussed innovations in areas such as the evolution from point-based modeling to line-based modeling, from supervised learning to unsupervised learning, and from discriminative methods to generative methods.

The breakout sessions of the afternoon meeting were also highly engaging. In the breakout session ① - the Intelligent Communication and Computing Systems Forum, hosted by Dr. Wu Yongwei from Shenzhen Institute of Technology, Professor Yu Xingguo from Central China Normal University delivered an excellent invited presentation on "Innovative Services, Focusing on the Future Higher Education Ecosystem". Subsequently, Professor Cheng Zhenzhou from Tianjin University delivered a speech titled "Mid-Infrared Nano-Film Silicon-Based Photonic Integrated Circuits and Applications". Moreover, Professor Chen Tupo from Nanyang Technological University in Singapore shared his research findings, titled "Computing Based on Memory". These presentations attracted many experts to participate in the discussions and sparked lively exchanges.

In the second sub-forum - the session on sensing technology and intelligent materials, the guests engaged in discussions around various cutting-edge topics. Under the chairmanship of Associate Professor Yi Yunji from Shenzhen Institute of Technology, Professor Jiang Ming from Sun Yat-sen University delivered a special report titled "Channel Modeling and Signal Processing for Cross-Water Visible Light Communication Based on Deep Learning". Professor Jiang Ming Shun from Shandong University shared insights on "Key Technologies and System Research for Pipeline Damage Detection Based on Piezoelectric Ultrasonic Guided Waves". Finally, Professor Zhang Qing from Nanyang Technological University in Singapore explored "The Application of Two-Dimensional Piezoelectric Materials in Thin Film Body Acoustic Resonators". These discussions not only showcased the innovative thinking of the researchers but also provided opportunities for in-depth communication and collaboration among participants.

During the oral presentation and poster display sessions, researchers from various universities across the country actively submitted their research projects, bringing together diverse ideas and viewpoints, and creating a favorable platform for communication and innovation between young scholars and senior experts. In this session, an awarding ceremony for the best papers and best oral presentations was also held. After the careful evaluation by the expert judges, several outstanding researchers stood out in their respective fields and were honored with the titles of best paper and best oral presentation, further inspiring the academic enthusiasm and innovation capabilities of the participants.

The successful holding of the 2025 6th International Academic Conference on Electrical Engineering, Electronic Information and Communication Engineering (EEICE 2025) has provided a high-level platform for experts and scholars in the fields of electrical engineering, electronic information and communication engineering to exchange ideas.
